Thanks to each and every one of you who made the Memorial
Fun Fly such a
grand success! Space prohibits me listing everyone so
I'm hoping this
"pictorial" issue of the Hear Ye will serve
as a reflection of my
appreciation of your efforts, as well as be a souvenir
of a wonderful VFSS
event.

KUDOS TO HANDIBOND CA ADHESIVES
Thanks to Handibond for their generous donation of CA
adhesives which helped
to make our Fun Fly a great event.
We were able to present each pilot a bottle of glue
as his/her transmitter
was impounded, as well as to give prizes and hats to
deserving and sometimes
unsuspecting members throughout the day. First up,
best shorts, best cook,
and best "save" were some of the better reasons
for awards of CA.
It is nice to have a kind corporate sponsor.

FROM THE CHIEF INSTRUCTOR

Help! We need more instructors. We will help any good
pilot to become a good
instructor. Contact Joe Pasquini if you are willing
to take on just one
student. I have instructed students to ask all instructors
and associates
to give them one or two flights whenever they are approached.
Please help
out.

CLUB CALENDAR
Tuesday, August 6th -
BOG meeting at the field at 6:30 P.M. If raining meeting
will be held at the
church..
Tuesday August 13th -
General membership meeting at the field. If raining,
no meeting will be held
until September 10th at the church.
Saturday September 7th -
Static Display of scale aircraft at Wings Field, Norristown,
PA.
Sunday September 8th -
Full scale fly in, Pancake Breakfast at Pottstown Limerick
Airport. VFSS
will have a static display, as in past "Dee"
Messina is contact person for
both events.
Tuesday September 10th -
General membership meeting at the church. Raffle, Show-N-Tell
and a speaker.
8:00 PM.
Saturday, September 21st - Fun-Fly Park Appreciation
Day. Rain date
Sunday, September 22nd.
